Situated NE of the summit of Seahan Mountain from which there are extensive views of the Liffey valley, and the passage tombs at Mountpelier. The passage tomb is much denuded and peat covered. It comprises a roughly circular cairn (diam.22m) which is defined by boulders, best preserved in the S and E. Many of the kerbstones have been displaced. There are indications of a passage, aligned N-S and a central square chamber (0.9m sq. ) defined by three orthostats at W (H 0.49m), E (H 0.7m) and S (H 0.57m). The chamber is covered by a slightly displaced capstone (Herity 1974, 256; Redmond and Mac Aonghusa 1994, 36-9).
