What is recorded here

Situated within an artificial lake established to provide water for paper mills at Clondalkin. A round-topped mound with cairn material exposed around its perimeter. In the 19th century this site was described as a 'very perfect and remarkable mound nearly suirrounded by a deep boggy slough called Bog Larkin' (Ua Broin 1957, 48).
