What is recorded here

This flat cemetery was discovered during landscaping work for a golf course in 1950. It is on an esker ridge, situated on the N-facing slopes of the Dublin Mountains. Some eighteen burials were uncovered in 1950-51 comprising four cist burials containing cremations accompanied by bowl food vessels; the remaining burials lay S and SE of the cists and were associated with cinerary urns(Waddell 1990, 81-2).
