Located on a slight rise in low- lying pasture, land. A haybarn has been erected on or close to site. There is no visible trace of a castle which was still partially visible in the 1830's (D'Alton 1838, 673). Aerial photos taken in 1971 (FSI 2.2721) shows a field system in the vicinity of the castle site (DU021-002002-).
