Situated in low-lying grassland on the outskirts of Newcastle Village. Shown on 1937 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular platform (diam. c. 40m). The site is evident as a cropmark on aerial photography taken c. 1990 (OS 8: 2858). It has since been destroyed and is not visible at ground level.
