17th-century graveslab/tablet of Dublin City Plasterer Edmond Liniger (died 25th of August 1676) located in the disused graveyard (DU018-494----) formerly known as the ‘Green Churchyard’ or the ‘Vicar’s Bawn' located to the E and SE of St Patrick’s Cathedral (DU018-020269-) which was closed for burials in 1868. Inscription on the graveslab / small tablet transcribed by Mrs. T. Long in 1905 as follows; ‘On a tablet, or very small slab, near the south-east entrance to the Cathedral, is the following inscription: — HERE LIES THE BODIE OF EDMOND LINIGER PLAIESTERER WHO DIED AVGVST YE 25 1676 . . OWEN RVSH [SV] SAN LINIG………..(Anon. 1906, 300).
