A four-storey mid-terrace house of two bays on a c.6m wide plot, c.12m height to top of front parapet. It is thought No.54 and No.54A were originally built as a single building and the substantial timber dentilated cornice at ground floor level and inordinately large stairwell in No.54 suggest a late seventeenth century mansion typology.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
