This is the present location of 1 of 6 ogham stones (CO085-067003- with CO085-067004-; CO085-067005-; CO085-067006-; CO085-067007-; CO085-067008-) discovered in 1846 built into a souterrain (CO085-067002-) in the SW quadrant of a ringfort (CO085-067001-) at Ballyhank, Co. Cork. This stone (0.6m; 0.3m x 0.1m) is broken and missing the first part of the inscription, which Macalister (1945, 93, no. 97) gave as ... ]LL MAQI VORRTIGURN. According to Macalister this is a secondary inscription, the older apparently copied ‘in minute pin-scrapes on the unoccupied part of the second inscribed angle’ and given as DIOBI (ibid.).
