One of two stone heads (see also DU018-273----), slightly larger than life-size, possibly male and female, kept at a farmyard (see WX046-058001-) but now in the National Museum of Ireland. One has a whistle-hole, indicating an Iron Age date, while both have had glass pupils inserted. (Roche 1986, 33; Moore 1996, no. 1670) Compiled by: Paul Walsh Date of upload: 31 December 2014
