What is recorded here

This is the present location of a granite boulder (decorated surface, 0.80m x 0.88m) from Knockbrack, Co. Carlow (CW017-029----). Surface prepared before decoration, with bevel around edge of stone. Decoration consists of eleven cupmarks, and eleven grooved lines, radiating from larger of two cup and circle symbols. Fairly worn surface. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In this instance the entry has been revised and updated.
