This is the present location of an ogham stone found in Tuckamine, Co. Carlow (CW003-023----). It was described and drawn by Price in 1938 (Notebook 17). The ogham inscription is on a 'rounded surface, not on an angle'. He suggested it read MUCU IBUCT and that it may have come from Kilmagarvoge burial ground (CW008-014----). Macalister read it as follows: MUCOI MUCC[I] (1945, 20, no. 17). (Brindley and Kilfeather 1993, no. 518) This stone has been studied as part of the ‘Ogham in 3D’ project undertaken by the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
