Clarke mentions Gilbert de Livet's house with two stone cellars and building above c. 1220 (2002, 29). This stone house was granted to St John the Baptist's Hospital in c. 1279, In c. 1231 it was described as a great stone hall with loft, cellar, portico and a stone built kitchen (ibid). Described as a great stone house in c. 1355 (1bid). Not precisely located.
