Archaeological excavations in 1995 revealed a small watercourse associated with a timber revetment, oriented E-W. This may be the site of the historically documented 'Colman's brook' which was divided up into millraces to power a watermill in the area (Gowen, M, 1996, 22).
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
