What is recorded here

De Gomme's map of 1673 shows a group of four houses near the north shore of the Liffey directly opposite the E end of Hawkins wall on the south bank (De Courcey 1996, 189). No visible trace.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
