The high cross shaft is located in the SE corner of the gravceyard 9Dims. H m, Wth 0.71m, T 0.31m). Known as Bully's acre on the grounds of the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham. It stands in a granite base. The E face has a sunken panel. It contais a vertical rib inrelief which opensout into a spiral at the base and expands into a V-shape at the top. On the West face is a similar sunken panel bearing an interlace which terminates in two pendants with circular bosses at the top. The sides also bear sunken panels. The top of the shaft has been cut away leaving the top of the cros in the form of a tenon (Harbison 1992, I & II, 130, 337, Figs.435-456).
