What is recorded here

Known as Carpenter's Hall, this building stood at the W end of Keyzar's Lane, in Cornmarket. The guild of carpenters, millers, heylers and tilers was incorporated in 1507 by Henry VII(Gilbert 1854, I, 254). This building became known as the New hall and gave its name to the adjoining New Hall Market (Bradley & King 1987, I, 30; FMD map 1978, L1). There are no visible surface remains.
