What is recorded here

Destroyed in the 1930's. A curving stone wall N of Boroughfield road outlines the N portion of the site. Formerly a round-topped mound (H.1.70m, diam. c. 18m). It was built up of two layers, a stone core and an upper layer of sandy soil. A human skull and large white boulder were found in the upper strata of the mound (Gogan, Irish Independent, 14 August 1933).
