Situated at the edge of a plateau with a valley to the E. This graveyard marks the site of an earlier monastery associated with St Canice. It contains the remains of a medieval parish church that contains in the SE corner of the chancel two 17th century graveslabs (DU014-066015-; DU014-066016-). In the SE corner of the graveyard just inside the entrance is a large granite ringed cross (DU014-066010-).
