What is recorded here

There foundation remains of the early medieval church survive to the north east of the graveyard (DU014-009002-). An early 18th parish church was located in the centre of the graveyard and survives as a low grassed over platform. The medieval church was said to have been erected by Ryryd son of Owain, Prince of Wales and was in reasonable condition in 1630 (Fingal Historic Graveyards project 2008).
