What is recorded here

This monument was excavated (Licence no. 03E1362Ext) in advance of development. Located 100m E of other prehistoric activity (DU012-090---) this feature consisted of a cluster of five tightly spaced sub-circular pits. The diameters of the pits varied between 0.45m and 0.84m, while their depths varied between 0.05m and 0.16m. The cuts were filled by similar charcoal-rich fills that contained frequent fragments of struck flint (Moriarity 2005). Compiled by: Christine Baker Date of upload: 5 February 2015

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
