Portion of a slab (dims. 0.43m x 0.36m; T 0.09m) displaying one quadrant of the orignal design which comprised a rectangular panel defined by a fret pattern divided into four panels by a hollow-armed cross with a small wheel. The surviving cross member has a fret pattern infill. Each panel was further enhanced with a circular device containing ornament; only one of these and the edge of a second survives. The surviving example is very weathered but appears to contain fret or swastika-like motif. The slab was recovered from the graveyard of Gallen Priory, Co. Offaly during the 1980s (see OF014-029029).
