First identified through geophysical survey (Licence no. 06R139) and confirmed through test-excavation (Licence no. 06E0799), the ring-ditch is located at the summit of a prominent hill. It measures 13m in diameter with a wide ditch (2m width) and a slightly raised interior (Frazer 2007, 25).
