What is recorded here

One of two similar souterrains excavated in advance of development (Licence no. 06D0477). The entrances of the two souterrains opened towards each other. The eastern souterrain had a circular chamber with a sub-circular pit cut into the floor, and a passage that ran north from the chamber then turned west. Souterrain ware was recovered from the fill (Corcoran 2009, 45). Compiled by: Christine Baker Date of upload: 2 February 2015
