What is recorded here

This structure was excavated (Licence no. 04E0680) in advance of development. Located south of a medieval ditch the structure was characterised as nine postholes, surrounding a pit of irregular shape which contained several layers of grain, predominantly barley. Pottery identified as Early to Middle Bronze Age was recovered from the fill and a radiocarbon date calibrated to 1880-1650 BC attained. (Carroll et al. 2008, 124).
