This pit was excavated (Licence no. 03E0067) in advance of development. Located to the northeast of the flat cemetery (DU005-131----) this pit (0.76m x 0.65m) contained a large quantity of decorated Neolithic pottery. Radiocarbon dating of the fill yielded a calibrated date range of 3700-3630 BC (Carroll et al. 2008, 27). Compiled by: Christine Baker Date of upload: 2 February 2015
