Historic quarry located immediately E of the Delvin River which forms the county boundary with Meath and 65m SW of the 'Ford of Fine'. Small oval-shaped quarry (approx. dims. 24m N-S x 15m E-W) immediately S of lime-kiln (DU004-107----) depicted on the 1837 ed. OSi six-inch map. Annotated ‘Quarry (Disused)’ on the OSi 25-inch map. Depicted as a hachured area on the last edition of the OSi six-inch map. Visible as an area of scrubland on the 2013-18 MapGenie orthoimage.
