Located in level pastureland at the 300 foot contour. The site comprises a circular round-topped mound (diam. 15m; H 3m). No indication of a fosse (Healy 1975, 16). The well preserved mound is situated on relatively flat land, the field sloping slightly from west to east. Views of the ridge of Fourknocks to north, Mallahow to east. Some poaching visible at top and along western base where some stone is visible.
