Quarry depicted as a kidney-shaped excavated area (approx. dims. 45m N-S x 40m E-W)  in a field immediately to the E of the Delvin River with access road running NE off the NW side of the quarry on the 1837 ed. OSi six-inch map.  Outlined as an irregular shaped area on the last edition of the OSi six-inch map.  Depicted as an irregular shaped area (dims. c. 20m N-S x 28m E-W) surrounded by tree plantation on the 1863 ed. OSi 25-inch map. Visible as a triangular-shaped tree plantation on the 2013-2018 MapGenie orthoimagery of the area.   Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien
