What is recorded here

Located on a slight rise, in level pasture broken by karst outcropping. Roughly circular, very slightly raised, stony area (24m E–W; 25m N–S) defined on the perimeter by barely discernible remnants of a wall, evident as a mossy cropmark (Wth 1.5-2m) from which occasional stones protrude. An arc of larger stones protrudes along the perimeter at NE-SE which may be remnants of an original wall facing. The interior is flat, with a very rough, uneven stony surface, broken by seams of limestone. There is an enclosure (DG104-014----) 35m to NW in the same field, and another (DG104-016----) c. 120m to NNE in an adjoining field. Compiled by: Jane O'Shaughnessy Date of upload: 7 May 2015
