Internal diam. c. 38m. A circular area surrounded by a substantial bank, a deep fosse and a low outer bank. There are several gaps in the inner bank and the outer bank is considerably damaged and completely levelled in places. A modern field fence cuts through the interior. The N half of the site is overgrown and a few trees are growing on the S half of the internal bank. The site is situated on the E end of a ridge with good views. The land on the ridge is good but the surrounding valleys are marshy. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Compiled by: Brian Lacey with Eamon Cody, Claire Cotter, Judy Cuppage, Noel Dunne, Vincent Hurley, Celie O'Rahilly, Paul Walsh and Seán Ó Nualláin (Lifford: Donegal County Council, 1983). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated. Date of upload: 22 September 2008
