Situated on N facing slope of heather covered mountain overlooking Teelin Bay to the E. In area of cut-away bog are the remains of a relict field wall (H 0.4-0.6m; T 1m) that extends c. 50m in a general N-S direction. The field wall consists of a line of low orthostats protruding above the surface of the bog with spreads of loosely piled rubble forming a spread of stone around the orthostats. A cluster of 19th century turf stands can be seen in close proximity to this pre-bog field wall.
