In poorly drained rushy covered mountain pasture, in small river valley, on the SE facing slope of Leahan Mountain with views of the sea to the S and Slieve League to the W. Situated on heather covered rough pasture overlooking mountain stream to SW and W. One of five conjoined rectangular shaped huts orientated on a NE-SW line (DG089-026017-021) with a conjoined circular hut site (DG089-026015-) 10m to SW and rectangular hut site (DG 089-026016-) 10m to S. The hut site at the SW end of five conjoined hut sites consists of a rectangular area (int. dims. 3m x 2.04m; wall T 0.9m; H 0.4m) defined by a low heather covered drystone wall which survives two to four courses high with no clear entrance feature visible. Located in an area of a dense concentration of hut sites which appear to make up a clustered settlement (DG089-026001/021).
