In poorly drained rushy covered mountain pasture, in small river valley, on the SE facing slope of Leahan Mountain with views of the sea to the S and Slieve League to the W. A pair of circular conjoined huts of drystone construction built on the E side of a small stream with a cluster of 5 conjoined hut sites nearby and a single hut site (DG089-026016-) 10m to E. NW hut (int. dims. 2m x 2m; wall T 0.9m) is well preserved with no clear entrance feature and the drystone walls survive three courses high (H 0.5m). SE hut (int. dim.s 1.5m x 1.4m) also has no clear entrance feature visible probably obscured by collapsed rubble from drystone heather covered walls. Located in an area of a dense concentration of hut sites which appear to make up a clustered settlement (DG089-026001/021).
