A local person remembers a cross-slab in this vicinity but no trace of it could be found. It was made of 'yellow stone', and was about 5 feet long. Although it was broken, it could be seen to have been originally decorated with a quartered-circle, the quadrants being cut out. It was situated in an area of fair pasture on a ledge at the SW end of Glencolumbkille valley.
