A standing stone, roughly triangular in shape, and 1.68m high × 1.7m wide at base × 0.26m thick; NE-SW. Situated on low marshy ground on the S bank of the River Finn.
Site was revisited in 2003 and described as the standing stone described above has been knocked and is now lying on its side. One large and two smaller pieces have been broken off it. Immediately adjacent at E is a smaller triangular-shaped stone (H 0.94m; Wth. at base 0.95m; T 0.26m) which may have acted as a buttress stone. It is surprising, given its size and location, that this second stone is not noted in the description in the Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
