Situated on SW facing slope of Bawnloge Hill, in rough mountainuous pasture with good views from E through S to W. This is one of several hut sites and house sites on the SW face of Bawnloge Hill, all of these structures are contained within a field system (DG029-052). Two hut sites (DG029-057001/002-) are located 125m to the SSE, and two house sites (DG029-053/054) are located 245m to the ESE. A panel of rock art (DG029-051) is located 130m to the E. Present remains consists of a level oval-shaped area (dims. 4.2m NE-SW ; 3.3m NW-SE) cut into rock outcrop which is defined by a series of naturally occurring boulders and large stones. There is no evidence of an enclosing wall. A field of rough pasture located to the SW of this hut site may be associated with this monument.
