There is a standing stone at this location (Lacy 1983). In 1944 Colhoun (1995) was told by the landowner that it was the remnant of a cairn removed during his lifetime. He claimed that the cairn was long and that there were 'cross-stones' visible. Colhoun was of the view that he may have been describing a chambered grave with at least some roof stones in place.

A standing stone 1.35m high × 0.74m wide; NE-SW. It is said locally that c. 60 years ago other associated stones were removed and some 'large bones' uncovered. Situated on pasture land falling away to the E and overlooking the Glentogher river.
