A stone 2ft × 2ft 6in now buried is said to have had 12 large cupmarks one with a concentric circle and several very tiny depressions (M. R. Colhoun). A local informant believed it had the shape of a child's footprint also. It was situated on the roadside in cultivated land overlooking Lough Swilly to the W.
