A triangular promontory c. 16m NW-SE × c. 12m NE-SW at its broad end, is cut off by a fosse up to 3m wide and 2m in depth which runs to a sheer cliff edge at both ends. At about the mid point of the fosse there is a slight causeway. The edges of a few stones can be seen on the inner face of the fosse. 2m on the land side of the fosse is a small earthen bank, most likely a field boundary. The site is located on level pasture land jutting NW into the sea.
