Original location of a cross-inscribed pillar stone 1.1m high × 0.39m maximum width at the upper half. There is a plain Latin cross with a T-bar terminal at the bottom, and the upper half of a circle joining the top and the two arms. There is another complete circle in the centre at the point where the arms cross the shaft. The cross is .5m high × 0.24m across the arms. It is now situated in a field wall, but was originally sited in the centre of the field known as 'Lacht Field'. There was a cairn (DG012-017002-) some 6ft high associated with it; this has now disappeared. Flat grazing land, overlooking Tremone Bay, some distance to the North.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
