This well is dedicated to St. Bridget. Situated at the end of a garden (modern bungalow) right beside the road. Now covered over with concrete slabs (presumably to keep clean as it is probably used by the householders). Described by Ó Muirgheasa in 1936 as 'In Maghernaul townland in the Isle of Doagh is St. Briege's Well, frequented by pilgrims till about 1900'. (Ó Muirgheasa 1936, 159). (Ó Muirgheasa no. 101).
