A subcircular cairn, of small angular stones, c. 9.9m in diameter and.75m high. A rectangular pit has been dug into the cairn with the cleared stones heaped up to the NE giving the mound a peculiar profile. It may be simply the remains of a trigonometrical station. It is situated on the summit of Sheemore in rough boggy terrain.
