What is recorded here

At the base of a NW facing slope, a long low cairn (L c. 4m; Wth c. 1.6m; H c. 0.5m) with long axis orientated NE-SW. The main body is made up of granite slabs set at an angle in two parallel lines with the gap in between filled with stones. Five large quartz stones protrude from peat at the SE. Recorded by Ó Murchú (2011, 69) as part of a Master's thesis (Survey number: C11). One of a large group of cairns (see CW026-019----). Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 30 October 2013
