In reclaimed pasture. According to location information there were cairns in this field which were cleared in the mid 1990s. These are not indicated on the 1st (1839) or 2nd (1905) ed. OS 6-inch map. These may have been field clearance cairns, however, as they no longer survive their date, form and function is unknown.
