The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Original bank represented by bank of stone collapse (max. ext. H at NE 1.2m). Straight field walls have replaced bank at W and N, but site appears to have been originally circular (est original diam. c. 40m). Aerial photograph (GB89.S.15) shows well preserved ringfort (Barrett 1989).

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
