The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Three conjoined rectangular cists, orientated approximately N-S. Cist 1: inhumation with bowl food vessel, Cist 2 : 'urn' and cremation, Cist 3: inhumed bones. Excavated in 1884 (JRSAI 1887-8, 491-4; 1970, 109).
