The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Aerial photographs (CUCAP BDO 55; BDR 47) show cropmark of large oval enclosure defined by bank with external fosse (Dims 90m N-S, 80m E-W). Partly recorded on 1908 OS 6-inch map. No visible surface traces.
