Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2620). A pit (diam. 0.5m; D 0.1m) containing burnt bone. Osteological analysis of the bone confirmed it to be a token cremation burial mostly from the cranium of one individual. A calibrated radiocarbon date of 1116-917 BC was obtained from this.
