Partially excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2589). On flat ground that gently sloped eastwards towards the N. Post excavation analysis confirmed that there were three definite cremation pits one of which was interpreted as a token burial. One of the cremations was accompanied by fifteen pottery sherds some of which were decorated representing the remains of a vase food vessel dated to the Early Bronze Age. Possibly part of a bigger flat cemetery. (Hegarty L. 2009, 50; O' Connell T.J. 2009, 9, 23)
