The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of revision: 16 December 2009 Revised by: J. Farrelly Historic Monument No. HM003511, this monument was entered in the Register of Historic Monuments on the 22 December 1980. Foundations of rectangular structure (12.2m x 7.3m) visible in uncultivated area (c. 14m E-W x 8m N-S) built against slope at SE. Two crosses and holed stone stand on summit of natural mound - see CW004-012003-, CW004-012004- and CW004-012005-. See also ogham stone (CW004-011----) and holy well (CW004-010----). Associated with a graveyard (CW004-012002-).
